Deregistration / electronic recycling certificate
You fill out an electronic form and the car is deregistered.

We collect it or receive it
Vaka sends a tow truck to pick up the car, or you bring it to our reception facility.
Request pickup or drop-off
The towing form must be filled out. You need the car's registration number, its location and the license plate details.

Vaka hf. collects vehicles for recycling free of charge in the capital area. For owners outside the capital area we offer favorable rates for transport.
Personal belongings
Vehicle owners are responsible for removing all personal belongings and other valuables from the vehicle before the transport request is submitted and the vehicle is collected.
