On Friday, June 25, the ÚUA ruled to annul the decision of the Reykjavík Public Health Authority (HER) to grant Vaka hf. an operating license. HER subsequently revoked Vaka hf.’s operating license.
This means that the reception for cars to be recycled, the used-parts sales, the car and machinery workshop and the tire workshop are closed while the matter is being resolved. The store is open for product sales but offers no services. The towing service and the sheriff’s auctions continue, as they are not licensed activities.
